Alternative treatment is generally recommended that patients consume a lot of medicinal herbs which have anti-cancer properties. Herbal for cancer, among others Catharanthus roseus, dendrophtoe petandra, Phaleria macrocarpa, and others.
Catharanthus roseus is known to contain two classes of compounds namely alkaloids vinka vinkristin and vinblastin, which inhibit the multiplication and dissemination functions of cancer cells. This herbal for cancer also contains alkaloids catharanthin, similar to the compounds in cancer cells. Absorption of this compound into the cancer cells are thought to fight cancer cells and dissolve the core.
In addition to herbal, cancer patients are advised to consume foods and fruits which can prevent cancer, such as: tomatoes that contain lycopene, soy beans contain isoflavones, green tea contains polyphenols, the skin of red grapes contain revesratrol, broccoli contains sulforafan.
